The Liberty Theatre and its surrounding office/retail space opened in 1925. From its inception, the complex became the centerpiece of economic, cultural and social activity, becoming the heart and soul of the area. Over the years, it fell into disrepair and was converted into a multi-screen cinema.
Since 1998, Liberty Restoration, Inc., a non-profit community group, has been working to restore the theater to its former glory as the regions premier performing arts venue.
Take a Seat is an opportunity to revive the romance of our local artists and arts programs. For $1000, you can make a tax-deductible donation to the provincial theatre and commemorate your generosity with a customizable four-line nameplate. As the perfect gift, we can send an elegant gift card on your behalf. Also, payment plans are available.
NOW is the best time to donate because the last 250 Take a Seat donors will be entered into a drawing for an Alaskan Cruise on Holland America.
This offer is good until October 31st as the drawing for our lucky winner will be on November 1st. Travel arrangements will be made by our local Sundial Travel andCruiseCenter.
If you would like to participate in Take a Seat or have any questions about the cruise drawing, please contact the Liberty Theatre, Exec. Director Rosemary Baker-Monaghan at 503.325.5922 Ext. 33 or Paul Mitchell at 503.325.2911. |
